In our restaurant, with its warm and cozy atmosphere, the chef Bruno Staccioli proposes his innovatively traditional cooking, based on the harmony of the four seasons and the local origin of products.

The food prepared by Bruno is all served with our bread – made with stone-ground flour and naturally leavened – our organic olive oil – obtained by hand-picked olives and cold pressing – and our organic certified wines. It tells the story of our old country through the offering of our organic nutraceutical garden. Every day we pick up fresh vegetables, aromatic herbs and fruits for our jam. Anything that we do not directly produce in our farm, such as organic pasta, meat, honey and cheese, comes from local farmers, based on the “0 Km” philosophy.
In the summertime, you can enjoy the evening’s fresh air from our open-air porch with its spectacular view on the San Gimignano towers and the sweet Tuscan valley. When the Fall and Winter come, you might want to snuggle into the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hotel, making yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace with a glass of our scented wine.

BREAKFAST

Mornings at the Torraccia begin with the fragrance of Maritza’s home-made cakes, our bread made with mother dough and ancient grains, our organic jams, cold cuts and cheese, yogurt, eggs, cereals and fresh fruits. Everything flows naturally and you will start your day with flavours and scents of nature around you.

The stillness and atmosphere of the hotel areas as well as the charming outdoor space looking at the sweet Tuscan hills and the enchanting outline of San Gimignano will certainly offer the best way to begin the day.

The restaurant is open to our guests as well as to everyone else who makes a reservation.

Lunch

We serve a simple buffet menu, normally including pasta, salads, vegetables, cheese, according to the season and to what our garden offers.

 

Lunch is at 13:30

Dinner

We serve a single menu at the table. It changes every day and includes five courses, from starters to dessert. You can also request and book a vegan or a vegetarian menu.

 

Dinner is at 20:00
