Torraccia di Chiusi is a recently-formed organic farm with over 20 hectares of land dedicated mostly to the cultivation of vines and olive trees. It has been established (or re-established) within the antique property belonging to the noble Conti De Vecchi Abbracciabeni family, who have made their home here for some 750 years.

The farmhouse is noted in records dating back at least to the 12th century, while traces of its existence date all the way back to Etruscan times.
From the Torraccia di Chiusi, by walking along the ancient pilgrimage trails (the Via Francigena), it is possible to arrive in less than an hour to the centre of the town of San Gimignano. It is also possible to take hikes, of varying degrees of ease/difficulty, to visit the most important archaeological and historical sites in the area of the Val D’Elsa.
